Playgroup, nursery and day-care

The three services Lovely Little lists. Here is what each one usually means for a little one, and what the school will confirm.

Playgroup

In a playgroup, little ones usually spend a short morning playing, singing, listening to stories and getting used to other children and a new grown-up. It's practice at being away from home for a while.

To be confirmed by the school

Age range, days and timings, group size, and how settling-in works.

Nursery

Nursery usually builds on playgroup: colours, shapes, early letters and numbers, rhymes, drawing and simple hands-on work, still mostly through play.

To be confirmed by the school

Whether the school also runs LKG and UKG, which books or approach it follows, and the medium of teaching.

Day-care

Day-care covers the hours a parent is at work: meals or tiffin, rest, play and activities, until pick-up. In Google reviews, parents of Lovely Little mention the day-care, an activity group, a dance class, storytelling, music time and regular updates.

To be confirmed by the school

Day-care hours, the youngest age taken, meals, the nap routine and late pick-up.
